Sam Hardy
Sam has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate communications, policy and sustainability. He has held in-house and consultancy roles working across a range of sectors including technology, renewable energy, mining, and commodities. His work has spanned North America, EMEA and APAC regions where he has worked with commercial clients and several national and state level governments. Prior to Consentium, Sam led ESG strategy and communications at an Adelaide based agency where he delivered projects mainly in the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors. This included working with listed businesses in Australia, the UK and the EU.
Before moving to Adelaide, Sam was Director of Outreach, and Co-Head of Advisory and Knowledge at Berlin-based ESG consultancy and audit firm, RCS Global Group. While at RCS he focussed on fostering ESG due diligence engagement between investors, the mining sector, and global ICT and auto companies within the battery metals and industrial metals markets. He had previously founded the successful boutique consultancy, Sorensen in London, where he delivered corporate affairs, thought-leadership, and sustainability projects for clients in the UK, US, and Africa. Sam has also held senior roles at Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs); the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change; and Arachnys Information Systems, now part of AML RightSource.
Sam’s technical expertise is focussed on ESG strategy, reporting, and communications, particularly within mining and energy.
